Yaesu FTDX10 vs. FTDX1200. I'm considering one of these radios. The FTDX10 I can purchase new, whereas the FTDX1200 I can purchase used. The FDX10 has great reviews for filtering, but has one antenna connection, whereas the FTDX1200 has two (RX input). I'm not interested in digital modes, just SSB.If I were looking to buy today, I certainly think the FT-710 would offer excellent value compared to either the FTDX-10 or the IC-7300. There have been several firmware updates with the FT-710 that have addressed initial release bugs and current pricing would make it a very tempting holiday gift for someone.
